About

little-village

The natural world is essential to my creative process. I can never comprehend the infinite complexity of the cosmos but the soil beneath me provides the foundation, nourishment, and place for me to exist.

My aesthetic grows from life experience working in conservation, education, animal handling, medicine, curation, phlebotomy, a short unsuccessful attempt at tugboat cooking, nursing support, answering telephones, janitorial services, pizza delivery, cake decorating, cleaning houses, and mowing lawns. I’ve shared my life with horses, goats, ducks, chickens, cats, dogs, fish, and always plants. I currently reside in Southeast MA.

My formal education consists of an MFA in visual arts, and a BS double major in Biology & Fine Arts which included study abroad in the UK.
